Homeschool Program
A Program for Homeschoolers and Youth Schooling at Home!
We offer an activities-based, high quality, and self-driven science program designed for children ages 6–9 years old. Throughout each session, students learn skills in scientific inquiry, explore different scientific phenomena, and learn more about the world around them. This program takes place in our indoor classroom spaces, CuriOdyssey's museum and zoo areas, and Coyote Point Park.

Our Home/Custom School program is for youth 6 to 9 years old.

Ocean Odyssey
October 2–October 30, 2024
Dive deep into marine science with Ocean Odyssey! This dynamic program offers participants a captivating exploration of marine life, ecosystems, and oceanography. Elemental Epiphany
November 6–December 11, 2024

Embark on a journey into the captivating world of chemical reactions with our program Elemental Epiphany! Through hands-on experiments, captivating demonstrations, and interactive discussions, participants will delve deep into the fascinating realm of chemical reactions. Captivating Creations
January 8–February 5, 2025
Join us on an exhilarating adventure where creativity knows no bounds with Captivating Creations! In this dynamic program, students will delve into the captivating world of animation, exploring the art of bringing still images to life. Through a series of engaging activities and hands-on projects, participants will uncover the secrets of visual storytelling and discover the powerful impact of color, movement, and composition. Delving deep into the depths of vision and color theory, students will explore the nuances of light and shadow, learning how to create stunning visual masterpieces that captivate the imagination. With a perfect blend of art and science, this immersive experience promises to spark creativity, foster innovation, and leave participants in awe of the magical synergy between the two disciplines!
Engineering Expedition
February 12–March 12, 2025
Get excited about an Engineering Expedition exploring the wonders of motion and mechanics! Experience the thrill of observing objects soar through the air, react upon impact, or withstand pressure. Guided by scientific inquiry, students engage in dynamic questioning, building, observing, and testing. From designing structures to experimenting with circuits, every activity offers an opportunity for discovery and innovation. Whether your child is drawn to engineering, this program provides an exciting journey into the depths of physics, fostering essential STEM skills and hands-on learning!
Flora and Fauna Fascination
April 16–May 14, 2025
Enjoy a journey of discovery with Flora and Fauna Fascination! Join our immersive nature class where homeschool scientists uncover the rich biodiversity of the park. Through hands-on activities and observation, participants will hone their skills as budding naturalists, unraveling the secrets of the wildlife that call this place home. From deciphering tracks to exploring ecosystems, every discovery deepens our understanding of the interconnected web of life. Through discussions on conservation, participants develop a deeper appreciation for protecting wildlife habitats. Whether a seasoned nature enthusiast or new to exploration, Flora and Fauna Fascination offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of Coyote Point Park's ecosystem.
Cancellations/Refunds
- Cancellations more than 21 days prior to the start of your program will result in a 75% refund of your program fees.
- Cancellations less than 21 days from the start of your program are not eligible for refunds.
- A full refund will be given if CuriOdyssey cancels your program.
- CuriOdyssey cannot provide partial refunds for missed classes and cannot offer a prorated price for partially attended sessions.
- Memberships are non-refundable.
Transferring Sessions
- If you need to transfer sessions, please reach out to the Education Team.
- A $25 transfer fee will be collected per session transfer.
For Families Using Ocean Grove
- A non-refundable 25% deposit is required for each session. CuriOdyssey will bill Ocean Grove for the remaining session fees.
- Member: Deposit: $92.25/session; Remaining Fees: $276.75/session
- Non-Member: Deposit: $117.25/session; Remaining Fees: $351.75/session
- If you cancel your registration less than 21 days before the session, Ocean Grove will be invoiced a prorated amount of the session fee based upon the cancellation date. After Ocean Grove payment is received, you will be invoiced for the remaining fees.
