Scenes from Bots & Bugs 2018

Welcome to a photo recap of our exciting Bots & Bugs event that took place Fri, April 6 – Sun, April 8, 2018.

Families were greeted by a Giant Cardboard Robot!

You could play with some giant robot arms if you wanted.

This robot, Pepper, could identify a drawn bug or bug toy.

Guess what? You could touch some of the bugs too!

Beetlelady brought many bugs to show and talk about.

Some kids stayed a long time making bugs with the Museum of Craft and Design.

But some people, they got to taste bugs for the very first time! Yum?

There were floors of different age group robotics teams. The teams brought problem-solving robots to share.

Robot shaped lights too? This event left smiles on many faces.

We hope your family will join us at our next event (click here to explore)!
Special thanks to our guests Beetlelady, FIRST California, Pepper, Starship, iD Tech, Museum of Craft and Design, Giant Cardboard Robots, and Don Bugitos. Bots & Bugs was kindly funded by Sharon and Joel Friedman.
