#IAMTHEZOOTODAY Social Campaign

Bring the zoo to you, and share your zoo too! Join our community connection campaign using ‘#IAMTHEZOOTODAY’! (‘#iamthezootoday’ works too!)

The idea is to go on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or your social media platform of choice and post pictures of your animals at home and animals you safely encounter in the wild from your yard, on a hike, etc. Then hashtag your photos #iamthezootoday and tag your local/favorite zoo!

Tagging your local zoo is a way to show them you’re still thinking of them even when you may not be able to visit in person, and that your appreciation of animals is still going strong no matter where you are. After all, the best zoos are ones that not only provide quality care to their animals, but also desire to inspire a life-long love of wildlife and conservation. Let them know you are inspired and #stillcaring. It is especially important during a time where communities that would regularly come together to support and celebrate what they love – like wildlife, conservation and science – may not be able to so do. We can stay connected and share enriching photos and videos with our world-wide community. Thank you!
