CuriOdyssey Weekend Recap
There was a lot happening this past weekend at CuriOdyssey! During First Friday Nights on April 1st, the Iron Panthers Robotics team joined us to exhibit their robots and other fun gadgets in the Redwood Hall. The Iron Panthers were founded in 2013 at Burlingame High School, with the mission of bringing students of all experience levels together to promote science and technology through their student-built, student-run team. Through robotics competitions and challenges, students are empowered to learn leadership, communication and collaboration skills. The team arrived with their big FRC robot, small blue dash bots, and Legos for our guests to play with.
On Sunday, April 3rd, our friends from the School of Rock San Mateo performed in the afternoon at CuriOdyssey. School of Rock San Mateo provides children with quality music lessons taught by real, practicing musicians. Students can learn everything from the keyboard to piano, bass to songwriting, and much more in a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Playing some of our favorite classics, the band rocked the house for our guests to enjoy while experiencing all CuriO has to offer on a beautiful Sunday.
