Scenes from a Party for The Nature of Patterns
One of the best things about joining your local non-profit, CuriOdyssey, as a member is the exclusive access to exciting members-only events like our preview party for The Nature of Patterns exhibition.
Member kids and parents were the first to play with all our new hands-on science exhibits. They swayed to ukulele Aloha from Hiram Bell, created unique S.T.E.A.M. crafts like Now You See It frequency strobe art, and they dug into Fletch’s scrumptious cuisine.
If you weren’t able to join us, here are a just a few moments from this delightful community event. If you’re not a member yet, join soon so you won’t miss our next event!
If you’re loving patterns and want to know more, here’s a list of some of the patterns in nature with beautiful images illustrating each in Patterns Found in Nature.
Check out The Mathematics of Nature’s Patterns for the math underneath the beauty of patterns.
And for interesting natural patterns that humans create or animals wear, see Nature’s Patterns Around Us.
Then come and visit us to see the new exhibition!
