Community Impact Overview 

FY2024 was a year of discovery, connection, and curiosity at CuriOdyssey. With the support of our incredible community, nearly 181,000 visitors walked through our doors—each one ready to explore, learn, and be inspired by science in new ways. 

Expanding Access to Science Education

More than 85,000 kids joined science programs, museum visits, and camps this year. In addition, Camp CuriOdyssey welcomed 795 campers across six engaging, curiosity-driven camp themes. 

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, we were able to provide…

• 3,264 scholarships which made science education accessible for learners of all backgrounds.
• 7,286 individuals who received free admission through Museums for All.
• 1,568 families that signed up to receive free memberships.
• 1,338 guests who participated in Sensory Sundays—a welcoming, low-stimulation experience for neurodivergent learners.

We expanded our love for science by opening two new seasonal exhibits—Kinetic Creations and Puzzling Perceptions, which invited kids to build, explore, and play. One of our more popular seasonal exhibits, IlluminOdyssey drew over 40,000 visitors which was a 71% increase from last year.

Beyond Our Guests

In addition to the guests and visitors, CuriOdyssey cared for 63 animals across 39 species, many of them rescues, and launched new conservation efforts. 

In addition to our dedicated staff, 405 volunteers gave over 11,400 hours of their time–which was equivalent to nearly $400,000 in service.

Each number tells the story of a child discovering science—curious, inspired, and growing with every hands-on moment. Through our love for science and their eagerness to learn, we create hands-on experiences that excite, challenge, and build confidence.
