Our 2025 “Night at the Museum” Annual Benefit

Our 2025 Annual Benefit was an unforgettable and memorable celebration of possibility, community, and science. On May 9, 2025, we  gathered at CuriOdyssey to celebrate the power of curiosity and the crucial role that science plays in shaping confident and young minds for the future.

We are so grateful to all of our individual sponsors as well as our corporate and in-kind donors Kerns Fine Jewelry, Anderson Yazdi Hwang Minton + Horn LLP, Beneficial State Bank, JMS Development Partners / John & Lorena Baer, Terra Ferma Landscapes Design, Ting & Associates, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Merrill (A Bank of America Company), and TomKat Foundation

Beyond the Benefit

This year’s Benefit wasn’t just a party—it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together for a shared mission. Guests explored interactive exhibits, met animal ambassadors, and raised their paddles in support of science education.

Thanks to our donors like you, the event raised over $550,000 – vital funds that will directly support both kids and families who need us the most. Your generosity will continue to lead the way for experiences that inspire wonder as well as create new opportunities that will spark interest in kids for years to come.

Words that Inspire: Julie Packard on Our Shared Goal

We were honored to host Julie Packard, Founding Executive Director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium as our guest speaker. Julie is an incredible leader in the science, marine and conservation fields and her words reminded us why our work at CuriOdyssey matters.

Julie said:
“The only place that elementary students get comfortable with science education is places like ours—Monterey Bay Aquarium and CuriOdyssey. We need to double down and escalate all the work that places like CuriOdyssey do and encourage everyone to step up.”

Her passion reflects our purpose, mission, and ultimate goals. These experiences aren’t optional extras—they are essential to growing confident, capable young scientists and stewards of our environment in the years to come.

Building Toward the Future

Whether you gave during the live auction, donated discretely online or shared the evening with friends and colleagues, your support matters. You are helping us shape a future where every child feels they belong in science.
