Under our new system, memberships will have a specified number of named members and a total daily admittance number that does not separate adult and child tickets. This will allow our members to visit with different groups of friends and family, and allow for all families to choose memberships that better fit their family size and shape.

How does the new membership structure work?

Each membership level has a “named members” number and a “total party size” number.

The named members are specified individuals, and at least one must be present for any membership benefits to be applicable. All named members must be adults.

The total party size is the total number of individuals that may be admitted under a membership on a given day, including the named members. This number is inclusive of all visitors over 18 months old.

I am currently a CuriOdyssey member. How will my membership be affected?

This new structure will go into effect starting July 30 for brand-new memberships. Currently active CuriOdyssey memberships will not be affected, however members may choose to opt-in to the new structure if they wish. 

Starting in October 2026, all memberships active under the previous system will be automatically transferred to the new structure. For members with multi-year membership terms, memberships will remain unchanged through September 2026.

Please note that Individual Plus members wishing to convert to the Duo level will be required to pay a $20 upgrade fee to accommodate for the additional named member.

How can I use a Donor Advised Fund to acquire a CuriOdyssey membership?

While legal restrictions on Donor Advised Fund (DAF) contributions prevent us from granting our regular membership levels to those that contribute via a DAF, CuriOdyssey offers an alternative “Explorer Pass” program to DAF donors. Explorer Pass holders receive non-tangible benefits equivalent to our regular membership levels such as admission, parking, access to member events, and Camp CuriOdyssey registration eligibility. Explorer Pass holders are not eligible for reciprocity benefits or for discounts on non-member admission tickets, in the CuriOdyssey Shop, on event bookings, or on education programs.
