Admission Price Change FAQ

Q: When will the increase take place?
A: The new prices will go into effect on June 1, 2022.

Q: Does this affect membership pricing?
A: Family Membership level will increase from $145 -> $185; no other levels will be affected.

Q: Why are you raising prices?
A: CuriOdyssey has not had a price increase in 3 years. In case you are not aware, we recently opened our Whooosh! Physics in Action Playground last fall. We have also welcomed new wildlife (referenced below), a larger Great Gray Owl enclosure, and the re-introduction of programs like Animals in Action.

Q: What does this mean for Museums for All and other discount programs?
A: We still offer $1 entry for EBT/CalFresh/SNAP, WIC, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Kaiser Cares for Kids programs with proof of eligibility. We also are a part of the Discover & Go program through the San Mateo Public Library system (and other participating counties). Cardholders get FREE passes to local museums and other cultural institutions, including CuriOdyssey. CuriOdyssey also has various other discounts for the Military, Teachers, etc.

Q: What can I do to offset the increase in price?
A: Admission increases can be offset by joining us as a member, which typically pays for itself within 3 visits* and offers free parking during your visits. Some or all of the cost of your tickets can be applied towards the price of a membership, same day only.

*$55.85 (cost of 2 adults + 1 child) -> $185 family membership (2 adults + all of your children or grandchildren under the age of 18)
