Earth Month Activities

Science in Action

See science come to life during Earth Week. Join our educators for special conservation themed demonstrations that reveal how scientists study, protect, and care for the natural world. Each day features hands on experiments and surprising discoveries for curious minds of all ages. Stop by, watch the science unfold, and ask questions along the way.

Interactive Story Time

Gather around for stories that spark curiosity about nature and the animals we share our world with. Our educators bring science and storytelling together with interactive moments that invite young explorers to ask questions, move, and imagine. Perfect for budding scientists and nature lovers.

City Nature Challenge

Join us on Friday April 25 at 1 PM for a free public marsh hike at Coyote Point and help catalog plants and animals using iNaturalist. Your observations help scientists better understand the ecosystems around us. Bring your curiosity, your camera, and your sense of discovery. This hike is a part of City Nature Challenge 2026!

Meet our Conservation Partners

Throughout the week, meet the people working to protect and care for our local environment. Stop by to chat with our conservation team and partners like UC Master Gardeners, who will share tips on native plants, pollinator friendly gardens, and simple ways to support biodiversity at home. Come ask questions and get inspired to make a difference.
