Becoming a Member
More science, more wildlife, more CuriOdyssey! Becoming a member gives you unlimited visits to our museum, zoo, and playground, as well as to our one-time and yearly exhibits such as IlluminOdyssey, and monthly events like First Friday Nights.
Your purchase of a CuriOdyssey membership helps us to inspire love for science and curiosity about the world to create a brighter future. Learn more about the different levels of CuriOdyssey membership below.

New membership structure
In response to community feedback about the increased types of families who visit CuriOdyssey, we have changed the structure of our membership program. Under this new system, memberships will have a specified number of named members and a total daily admittance number that does not separate adult and child tickets. This will allow our members to visit with different groups of friends and family, and allow for all families to choose memberships that better fit their family size and shape. Learn more >

Membership for All
Membership for All, an extension of our Museums for All program, offers free membership for eligible families. Qualification is based on enrollment in eligible assistance programs, child and family services, or by meeting specific income thresholds.
Top FAQs
When do memberships begin?
Memberships (excluding certificates) are valid immediately after purchase and members do not have to wait to receive membership materials before visiting.
If you would like to visit before receiving your digital membership card, please show a photo ID at the front desk. You will need to pay the $6 county park entrance fee if you have not received your parking permit, or request a printed pass at the admissions window and place it on your car dashboard before entering the museum.
How long does it take to receive Membership Cards and parking permits?
Within 10–15 business days of purchasing your membership, you will receive two emails: a welcome email with your tax acknowledgment letter attached, which contains your parking permits at the bottom for you to print and cut out, and a separate email to download your digital membership cards.
Are membership dues tax deductible?
Your membership donation is fully tax deductible. Please consult a tax professional for advice on tax deductions. The document attached to your welcome email sent 10–15 business days after purchase is a tax acknowledgement letter.
If your employer matches donations, please submit your membership purchase to double your impact.
Essential Parking Information
Do I have to pay a vehicle fee?
Members must pay the Coyote Point vehicle fee if any of these situations apply:
- Member cannot show a valid parking pass to the ranger at the gatehouse
- Member is not visiting CuriOdyssey
- Member visits on a day or time we are closed
- Member parks in an undesignated lot
The vehicle entrance fee is paid directly to and directly supports the county park.
How do I get my parking permits?
Your parking permits are at the bottom of the welcome letter, attached to your member information email, which you should receive within 10–15 business days of your transaction. Please print your welcome letter and cut the parking passes out.
If you visit us in person we can give you pre-printed parking passes; however, you must go back to your vehicle and place the parking permit on your vehicle's dashboard before entering. If you would like your parking permits mailed to you, please contact membership@curiodyssey.org.
How do I use my parking permits?
Please show a valid membership card and a parking permit to the ranger at the gate, otherwise, you will be asked to pay for parking. If there is no ranger present, you may drive through. You must display the parking pass on your vehicle's dashboard for the permit to be valid.
Members can park in the three lots nearest to CuriOdyssey when they visit, marked in yellow on the park map (PDF).
