CuriOdyssey Opens New Exhibition:
IlluminOdyssey – A Winter Light Experience for Kids
Spectacular light exhibition will electrify your child’s imagination

SAN MATEO, CA – October 25, 2017 – CuriOdyssey’s exciting new exhibition, IlluminOdyssey – A Winter Light Experience for Kids, opens Friday, November 10, 2017. Inspired by the science of light, this amazing exhibition will thrill guests with fascinating works of interactive luminosity and kid-friendly glowing art. CuriOdyssey’s four-floor Redwood Hall will transform into a radiant sculptured forest, alive with roving beams of brilliance and quiet knolls of touchable, fiber-optic creations.

Children will be free to move and stack gleaming objects, physically interact with projections, create colorful moving shadow art, and play with filtered light. Every installation in this exhibition will be an exploration into the physical properties of light. The shimmering beauty of the Aurora Borealis will inspire guests to see the science of light in the natural world around them. CuriOdyssey’s hands-on approach to science education influences every facet of this exhibition.

The IlluminOdyssey exhibition will be open Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., from November 10 through January 7, with extended hours until 8:00 p.m. on November 10, December 1 and January 5. The exhibition will be closed on December 9 and December 10.
