Camp CuriOdyssey offers interactive experiences that spark excitement and ignite curiosity. Campers take their experiences of inquiry, investigation, and individual discovery and develop lifelong critical thinking skills.

Our camp groups are small by design to ensure that campers enjoy personal, rich explorations of the world. Experienced camp leaders create an environment that empowers campers to question, examine, and imagine.

Join Camp CuriOdyssey to create a catapult, encounter live animals, explore the outdoors, and/or investigate the science of flight. Be part of the program that helps children acquire the tools to deeply understand the changing world.

Camp Themes

Each camp (Gadgets & Gizmos, Earth Explorers, etc.) offers engaging activities specific to the age/ grade group and camp theme. Within a camp theme, activities may repeat during the summer. Campers are encouraged to attend different themes.
Camp activities change from year to year! While we may repeat some favorite activities, a first grader who enjoyed Earth Explorers Camp last summer can enroll again as a second grader and have another distinctive camp experience.

Age/Grade Groups

Our camps are designed to be developmentally appropriate for each age/grade group to ensure that children get the most out of their camp experience. For this reason, we do not combine camp groups or place campers in groups outside of their age/grade. If you feel your camper has extenuating circumstances and would like to request an exception, please contact the Director of Education, Carl Oosterman, at 650-340-7590.

Pre- and Post-Camp

Pre-camp care is provided for all camps from 8:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. Post-camp care is available only for full-day camps from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Pre- and post-camp care is included in your camps fees.

Campers with Special Needs

Our educational philosophy and program design of being universally inclusive have proven successful with campers with varied learning abilities. Campers with ADD, ADHD, or mild autism have had wonderful success. This success comes from early planning and communication with the camper’s parent/guardian and camp staff. Helping us understand the needs of your camper assists us in creating an experience that is optimal for your child and all campers. If a camper requires the support of an aide in camp, arrangements must be made before camp begins. Call 650-340-7590 or contact the Director of Education. Only aides authorized and cleared by the Director of Education are allowed to be in camp. CuriOdyssey is unable to provide personal aides, but welcomes collaborating with an aide provided by the camper’s family.
