They were collected by a private collector and transferred to CuriOdyssey from 2005 to 2008.

Fun Facts
People have been known to eat banana slugs. The indigenous Yurok Indians of the North Coast area would use “the large yellow slug” for food when other food became scarce.

Dead plant material, animal excrement, mushrooms, and poison oak.

Leafy greens, vegetables, and fruits.

Pacific Northwest of the United States.
